Recently our Baton Rouge Diocese changed the minimum age of Confirmation from eleventh grade to seventh. Due to the relatively small size of our Confirmation classes, we at Holy Family will offer this precious Sacrament to eligible candidates in grades seven through eleven on April 24, 2026. As a result of such short preparation time, we will begin an intensive series of class sessions in early September. Soon registration and detailed class information will be mailed to all families on our parish roster with students in grades seven through eleven. All class sessions will be mandatory for both Catholic school and public school students. Interested Port Allen Catholic families not on the parish roster can register by calling the Church Office at (225-383-1838).
