Confirmation is a Catholic sacrament that signifies the strengthening of the Holy Spirit in an individual. Through this sacrament, the recipient is sealed with the gift of the Holy Spirit, which strengthens their faith and prepares them to become full members of the Church. Confirmation is typically received during adolescence or adulthood after the recipient has undergone a period of preparation and discernment.
The Diocese has established guidelines for candidates of the Sacrament of Confirmation:- Candidate is required to have received the first two Sacraments of Initiation: Baptism and Eucharist.
- Candidate is required to be in grades 5th - 7th in a Catholic High School or Parish School of Religion Program.
- Confirmation preparation is separate from the catechesis provided in parish schools of religion and Catholic high schools.
- Confirmation will be conferred by Bishop Duca on candidates in grades 7th for the 2026 - 2027 year.
- Candidates are expected to be confirmed in their registered Church parish. If you are not a member of Holy Family, you must contact your church parish and receive proper permission from both your parish and Holy Family.
To Register:- Fill out the online registration form
- Pay the Confirmation Program Fee of $60.00(can be paid online upon registration or via a check made out to Holy Family during Mandatory Orientation Meeting, September 1st, 6:00PM in Marian Hall).
- Deadline to Register is Wednesday, August 20th!

Confirmation - Sacrament Year
Students attending a Catholic or non-Catholic school, grades 5th - 7th, will register for the 2026/2027 Confirmation Preparation Program. Seventh graders will be required only a one year of preparation program to receive the Sacrament of Confirmation on Wednesday, April 7, 2027, at 7:00PM. Sixth graders will be required a two-year program and our current fifth graders will be required the eventual full three-year program. Deadline to Register is Wednesday, August 20th.Mandatory Orientation Meeting - Confirmation Candidate and Parent are required to attend a to be held on September 2nd, 6 - 7PM in Marian Hall. Required forms will be handed out at this meeting. Deadline to Register is Wednesday, August 20th.
1st Confirmation Class - Sunday, September 13th, 4:30PM in Marian Hall
Additionally, by September 13th the following are required to be turned in:- Copy of Candidate Baptismal Certificate
- Media, Liability, & Communications Release Form

NOTE:All Students who are entering 7th grade, who have completed all eight mandatory class sessions will make their Confirmation on Wednesday, April 7, 2027, at 7:00PM.
